Blue Ombre

Been back at uni for a week now and my first exam is in just over 2 weeks (same day as my birthday :(  )

It felt so good to be reunited with all of my nail polishes again!! I had a flick through my Wah Nails book and saw they did a pink ombre swatch so thought I'd give it a go in blue :)

I thought they looked pretty good, but I've had four random people come up to me and ask where I got them done and they were so shocked when I said I did them myself- so apparently they look tricky- but they're reallllly not.

I used Natural Collection white, Blueberry by Barry M, and Midnight Saphire by 17

All you need to do it paint the colours straight onto a small square of sponge and literally dab it onto the nail. Build up a few layers to get the strong colours. 

I would advise putting strips of tape on the skin around your nails as it minimizes mess which can be a pain to clean off afterwards :)
